Nearly forgot about this. 
As some of you know I went  to Lanzarote last week.......

We had access to tv and quite by chance 8 am news on Wednesday there was a piece about football chants from a group of singers. My DH noticed Ben first and called me in to look. The interviewer mentioned something about G4 and Ben said something about always chanting at football matches since he was little. Didn't catch all of it so I don't know if they were recording it or what.

Did anyone else see this?
We were out for the day so didn't see anymore of it.

As you can guess I have already put this on G4O ....hence the smiley boxes.

Just seen a brief feature on this on BBC Breakfast.

The group is called By Chants (I think), and is the brainchild of a chap called Crispin Thomas, a football poet.  They interviewed a couple of the singers - not Ben sadly - though they did say 'some members of G4' were involved.  There were seven guys in the group, all kitted out in football shirts.

Apparently it's something to do with a vote in Nuts magazine to find the best football chant.

Must keep any eye out for anything about it. I wonder if Mike is involved too - "some members" seems to point to more than Ben?

Caught this earlier. I only saw Ben, sadly not Mike or Matt. A bit of fun for a magazine. As Willowy said, they didn't even interview Ben although mentioning G4 and not even a close up!!

Shame they didn't talk to Ben on BBC.....they definitely did last week on Sky News.

I have it on video but no way of putting up on a link. Don't think it's worth the effort to be honest as it's only a fleeting couple of glances from a distance. If someone has it on DVD then it would be easier.
