I was listening to some of my other CD's last night and there are a few songs that I would pay good money to hear Jonathan sing.

Santa Lucia - Pavarotti sings it so beautifully and I just know that Jonathan would too.

Panis Angelicus -  A huge favourite of mine. 

Ave Maria : the traditional tune - I so so so would love to hear Jonathan sing it.

I'm sure I will be back with loads more - just wondered does anyone else have songs that they really would love to hear Jonathan sing?

I would also love to hear him sing 'Panis Angelicus' Molly as he sang it on his first album when he was 17/18 and it would be interesting to hear how he sounds singing it now as compared to then before he went to Guildhall

That's another favourite of mine and he did say on the Wright Show that his album then was so he had a record of what he sounded like before going to Guildhall , so he  could re-do that album for me as there are some lovely songs on it and it would be good to compare how he has progressed vocally ont hem

Well I'm going to move away from the classical theme for mine

I've always wanted to hear Jonathan sing My Immortal by Evanesence - I think he'd do an amazing version of it  

There is a few tracks I would love to hear him sing from his first album, Most of them in fact, Just to hear the difference, Would sound like two totally different people I would especially love to hear him sing empty chairs and empty tables from that album :)

 I might have a think about it and come back to it. Me likes these types of questions :)

I'd love him to sing So Deep Is The Night based on a Chopin tune, Lesley did it on one of her albums recently. It's so beautiful (actually it's being used in an ad at the moment, the one of the curly haired guy waiting for his kiddie,) builds nicely and has a grand stand finish that Jonathan could really go to town with.

That might be a theme for the next album, classical pieces that have been turned into popular songs.

This is a difficult one indeed...... I'm not very original and my brain ain't working yet!

Somewhere , Maria (West Side Story)

Home is another favourite , although we've heard Jon do this on tour....I love this song and would like to see it on a CD sometime.

Without You.... (Mariah Carey and Neilson , I think did this originally ) some high notes in this would suit Jon so well.

Panis Angelicus

After listening to Che Gelida Manina which I absolutely love I'd like Jon to introduce me to some some more opera ....as long as it's not too heavy.

 There are some arias I may have heard but I don't know the names of .

Basically I'm open to hear anything that Jon sings.

 For me I loved that Tenor at the movies was not the usual much covered classical crossover tracks -i'd love Jonathan to continue with that with his next album and give exposure to some lesser known classical gems .Basicly as long as he picks tracks that push Jonathan as a artist and showcases his beatuiful voice as it deserves ..also that surprise and offer something new for the music buying public-i'll be very happy.

I'd also hope that the next album will be classical chart eligible again -I just think if Jonathan is to continue step by step to establish himself in the classical genre-the next album needs to enter the classical charts.

Couldnt sleep last night - so got to thinking of what sort of albums I'd personally love from Jonathan - if it was only me he had to please!

So these are my "fantasy" albums:

My first one I think would be an album of spirituals - performed with a gospel choir - it would have to include:

Steal Away

I need Thee every hour (not traditionally a spiritual - but could be done in that way with the right arrangement)

Amazing Grace (I was listening to G4 last night - and Jonathans vocals on Amazing Grace are so beautiful)  

Peace in the Valley

Swing Low sweet chariot

Walking in the Light

Why Me Lord (off one of Cliff's gospel albums - would be gorgeous with Jonathans voice!)

Andrea Ross recently covered it but I think Jonathan would record a stunning version .
