    Jonathan's first cd

     Hi

I have been looking for a long time to buy a copy of Jonathan's first CD which he made when he was 18. A couple have come up on e-bay but they become very expensive towards the end of the bidding time.  Does anyone know where I might get one or if anyone has a copy could they perhaps copy it for me please?  I would love to hear what he sounded like before he was trained. (I did hear Jonathan say once that there were loads of them up in his Mum and Dad's loft. He wants to get them out, and put them on e-bay, he could make a fortune!)

     Thank you

I had that very conversation with him relatively recently when we got talking about that album haha. I told him to get an account use a random name and sell em on Ebay. Make a few quid.  He was well up for it haha. He of course wouldnt :( More is the pity, I know many out there still want a copy, It is very 'aww bless' though awww

(He didnt seem to think they'd sell that well mind)

Well the odd one or two appearing regularly on eBay would make a penny or two - maybe a job for Family Ansell - after all they will want the space back Smile

Well, I doubt it would be chart eligible anyway Hmm

But joking aside, you  just have to keep an eye on ebay and hope you can afford to bid for one Wink

    Re: Jonathan's first cd

When G4 agreed  a contract with Sony, Sony banned it. Before the record shop in Bognor has run out of stock, a few fans managed to buy them.

Once, on ebay,  as we watched,  his CD went up and up and up..... and has gone to several hundreds of pounds Surprise.

You'd better not talk openly about copying it, you know?  (If you do, donate to Jonathan's charity)

Now the contract with Sony finished. What UCJ would think of it, I wonder Sad.

Yes I was surprised they are still appearing on there Jules after what happened with Sony.  We know they had them taken off and thought it would still continue, although UCJ not so possessive - to use a kind word, me thinks.  Vast majority have had it for past few years, remember the thread on G40.  Still makes you smile when you listen to it - sometimes winceBig Smile thank god for Guildhall!  Lovely to keep though.
