    Beat the Star

Just watching this show compared by Vernon Kay.

Quite good and different sports/activities being done and they have no idea what they are to do next

Been hitting nails into a bit of wood, dune buggy time ed lap, climbing a high pole to ring a bell, milking a cow, hanging from a bar, name the celeb picture quiz and penalty shoot out.

I think with Jonathan's competitiveness, he would be great in this show and he is sporty !!   They have some good banter too Big Smile Wink

Just watched this show again and it's not just sports stars who appear in the challenge - it was Kelvin Fletcher (Andy from Emmerdale) tonight.

I still think this would be a fun programme for Jonathan to be on as he is so competitive and the games they play are sometimes silly ones, so a bit for his fun side as well.  Vernon's banter is great and sure Jonathan would rise to it with quick replies !!! Big Smile

Oh god yeah Deffo Cathy :)

I'd love to see him milk a cow like in the first epsiode haha

Seriously though (Although that was serious !! ) Jonw ould be soo good at it, Cos he'd just grit his teeth and see to it that he won it, It would be Fab,

And him and Vernon would be proper funny together :) They'd bounce of one another :)

I never saw tonights because we are at my mums, But Callum usually watches it, He loves it, Must admit I quite like it too :)

And of course there is the wearing of the shorts too Wink

    Re: Beat the Star

WOW Gutted for Marty Totally, He looked crushed, Though I must be honest I had a feeling Vernon may just beat him on that game, (once it started, before they got on I thought marty) Vernon seemed to be hanging effortlessly were as Marty was visibly strugling,

The over all show was fab though, And I was surprised at how much of a game it was, At the start of the show I didnt think Vernon stood a chance, Especially as he hasnt been in training for it,Just goes to show. I thought Marty would win most of em,

Really good, And V clearly never had a clue,

    well done him :)

That's been the best show in the series and Vernon was brilliant - he was gutted for Marty though

Never bothered hardly watching this until I saw the trailer for Vernon's surprise.

Thought it very good and like a lot of others I could just see Jonathan doing this.

He would be in his element.

A surprise win for Vernon 'tho it just shows that not everyone does well if the tasks are not active ones. I was mesmerised at him climbing the post....his great long legs were doing about 3 or 4 steps at a time...shame he lost because of nearly overbalancing. I'd have grabbed anything in site too.Wink

I saw a little clip the other week of Martina Navratilva who is obviously still very fit, but she failed miserably on doing a jigsaw puzzle.Surprise
