When Jonathan presented John Williams in the first week of ‘The Great Movie Composers’ and played Hymn To The Fallen from 'Saving Private Ryan', I thought it sounded familiar Hmm

I didn't see the film...must have heard it elsewhere..... Weeks have past. Today I was listening to Cfm and found it! Idea

It was Aaron Copland's 'Fanfare for Common Man' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xzf0rvQa4Mc&feature=related So how John Willimas can claim it was his? Hmm

Exactly the same beginning. Has he acknowledged it?

John Willaims' version was into 23 mins 10 secs on Joanna's recording of first week.
