Hi guys!

Just wondering what other music people listen to apart from Jonathan.

I'm listening to a lot of Cortes at the moment. He's a classical Tenor from Iceland, he has a brilliant voice and he's got a new album out in June!  Can't wait for that! Has anyone heard anything by him?

I have Cortes on myspace but haven't listened to him much. I like Andrea Bocelli, Leonard Cohen, Asher Quinn, Lordi, Eric Clapton, The Killers, Snow patrol, Bryan Adams. A mixed bag really depending on my mood I guess

I saw him perform live last year with Lesley Garrett and was very impressed.   Very powerful voice and far better looking 'in the flesh' than in his photos lol!!!    Bought his first album and play it quite often and have heard snippets from the one out in June so will probably buy that too.

He is very good looking isnt he? I have never seen him live but I would love to go this year. Does anyone know if he has any tour dates coming up in the UK?

His first album is great, I love his duet with Katherine Jenkins.

I saw Cortes live last year and was a bit disappointed in his lack of engagement with the audience - the programme was good but he did not say one word to the audience - no welcome or even a goodbye and certainly nothing in between!  So as a theatrical experience it did not score too well.    Have listened to the lead track from his new album and again not too keen.

That's such a shame Di. I hope that if I get a chance to see him his year he doesnt disapoint in terms of audience interaction cos i really think he's great in every other sense.

Maybe the rest of the album will be more to your taste. What was your favourite song when you saw him?

I enjoyed Cortes' live performance of Granada best!    And the duet he did with Lesley Garrett of 'the Drinking Song' (forget the proper title lol!) - they really seemed to get into that one together!!!  (Could have been the glasses they were holding and contents within which helped of course!).

 He only spoke a few words to the audience when I saw him - mainly to introduce his songs - but he seemed genuinely pleased with the response he got.  And he interacted well with Lesley.   I think Lesley brought him out of his shell a bit !!!

Sorry - other music I play ........... I like G4 (of course!) .... Aled Jones, Charlotte Church, Russell Watson, Fron Male Voice Choir, Hayley Westenra, All Angels - and I must admit to warming to Blake. I've had a couple of their songs on compilations I have bought and they are quite pleasant to listen to. More background music than G4 - who were right there up front so to speak - but Blake are quite pleasant. I also like classical compilations.

On the pop/musical side I dont really listen to many from the present.........other than the lovely Lee Mead and the gorgeous Sir Cliff Richard ...... I mostly listen to 60's music by a huge variety of artists and occasionally some Westlife - their older stuff which I still like.

I am a big fan of Michael Buble so he is currently on my Ipod as well as Take That and Gary Barlow's 2 solo albums......

Eeek Michael Bublé is so adorable. When he played Wembley Arena back in December '07, Cath and I met him round the back and 'cos it was so cold, he held my hand and warmed 'em up! <3 Plus, he is just insanely funny! Chelle, are you coming to see him @ the o2 Arena in July? Please say you are!

Not listenin to TT nearly as much thesae days. Mark Owen, His solo stuff is fantastic and its sacrilige he didnt do well as a solo artist. Totally, He's amazing and to see him live is awesome he just puts everything into it, You just cant stand still. Love his second album especially, But his third is as good, Listen to him a lot cos it reminds me of drunken fun and stalking haha.(all at the same time) Really miss his solo stuff, I doubt we'll be getting anymore from him, How Rude !!

Westlife awwwwwwwwwwwwwww I loovveeeeee westlife *sigh* haha no seriously, I dooooooooo Its clearly all about Kian though, Oh yeah and the music of course, It's all about the music ;)

And ultrabeat, Their album is playing as we speak and it's wicked Proper lifts you and amkes you smile !

But I listen to other stuff though, Tis mainly what I play though
