Oh, this will be my stress release! Drinks...after all that madness of tickets buying (or not yet for sale or  cancellations ratherHuh? )

I should relive the wonderful time we hadSmile If I concentrate on listening without worrying about the visual, I might hear something I missed on the day.

lit a candle with a few drops of lavender oil and poured a glass of wine.. bless! Drinks

    Really enjoying the music therapy.

Somehow, it sounding better than what it was... on live, too much of amps or whatever, it sounded rather muffing and artificial. This one sound wonderful, expecially vocals both Jonathan and Blake.

I can hear more personal voice of Jonathan and needless to say it sounded wonderful Big Smile.

I enjoyed Blakes very much too, sounded much better than how it was there Smile

advert finished, back to the sofa. .

Nice to hear John Brunning mention G4 and Matt as a presenter on CFM Big Smile

Everyone out and I have surround sound on ................ MAGNIFICENT !!!!!!!!

Better sounding than on the actual night - only disappointing comment about the broadcast is not being able to SEE Jonathan singing, as he manages to catch eye contact with everyone and I know Marian will back me up when I say that when he caught our eyes during 'My Own True Love'. we both just melted in our seats

    I've been listening in too.

Me and the dogs were lying on the settee - lights off - and it's been beautiful. Definitely relaxing after the stress of still not being able to buy my concert tickets!

Lang Lang was superb. I didnt realise that the orchestra played with him - I dont know why but I thought it was just him at the piano. He is such a gifted pianist - you could tell he was so into the music. I dont normally like Rachmaninov - but I was totally won over.

Jonathan was wonderful as always. I thought his rendition of The Godfather was very beautiful - and My Own True Love was fabulous - and that last note!

I enjoyed Blake too - I have warmed to them over the months. I thought they sang both songs lovely.

The Great Escape was brilliant - and I've now got the rest of the concert coming through my computer speakers - a perfect Friday evening.

I would have liked to have heard the whole broadcast as it happened - with Simon Bates etc - to get the atmosphere - but still - I'm not complaining - I got to hear Jonathan which is wonderful. And all the music of the evening has been excellent.

I can't believe I actually got home in time after seeing Ben to hear this!! Certainly brought back some memories (as Cathy mentioned). Loved every minute.

Jonathan is at his best with a live orchestra behind him. Although nothing can beat watching Jonathan sing live, this was a close second, recorded live. I could just sit back and close my eyes and listen to the beautiful music and of course that voice!!

Well done Jonathan - keep it comingYes

If anyone would like to let John Brunning know how much they enjoyed the concert - especially a certain Mr Jonathan Ansell - you can let him know here: http://www.classicfm.co.uk/sectional.asp?id=10075   Yes
