Classic FM's Proms Spectacular August 23rd

Something else to look forward too!!

    Saturday August 23rd
    Classic FM's Proms Spectacular

A perfect summers evening with the English National Orchestra and ever exuberant conductor Jae Alexander, leading the audience through a superb programme of popular classics, film themes and many of the firm favourites associated with the ‘Last Night Of The Proms’. Guest performers include talented star tenor Jonathan Ansell, formerly of opera group G4 and now enjoying huge success as a solo artist; and star soprano and opera diva Natasha Marsh. The evening reaches its climax with a dazzling fireworks display to accompany all the flag-waving fun of ‘Rule Britannia’ and Land of Hope & Glory’. It’s a picnic, it’s a party, it’s another excuse to dress up and have fun - but most of all it’s a wonderful experience and a truly memorable evening.

    Souands fabulous, Thank you M.

But don't think I'll be doing this one. GUTTED. It's Callums Birthday and it just wouldnt be fair on him for me to galavant off else where. Andf If I'm honest I dont think I'd actuallywant to, It's Callums day innit (as are most of the other days of the year LOL) And for me his birthday solely about him.

Looks and sounds fantastic though. Wonder if he fancies a trip to Marble hill  on his birthday, We can have his party the day before or few days after HAHA

Don't judge this Jules 'til you've walked in her shoes!

    OOh this sounds good...thanks Marian.

My mind is working overtime again.....and I think I might just go for this instead of Petworth as it will spread out Jon's appearances nicely through the year...for me anyway.

Would we have to encounter much London traffic to get to this, as my DH doesn't like driving in London ?
