ClassicFM Behind the Scenes Interview 29 May 2008

In the Behind the scenes at the Classical BRITS section there is a lovely video interview with Jonathan.

It's very sweet the way he talks about us fans! :)

Best news though - new CD in October!!!!

    Bless him!

Don't know. can't seem to download the CFM one from there at the minute.

If it has Jonathan in his silver suit with white classical brits backdrop talking about just having sung, fans and new album then it's probably the same.

Sorry I'm not up to date with all these.

I think it has already been put up on here on the audio/radio thread for Classical Brits .

If it's the one where Jon had a 'secret skill'....sugar spinning , it definitely is.

It was a lovely little interview and Jon came over very natural and friendly.Big Smile

It could be a different one as CCDWM was not mentioned in that interview.

Classic FM magazine grabs a word with tenor Jonathan Ansell after his duet with Hayley Westenra and quizzes him about his appearance on Celebrity Come Dine With Me!

Unfortunately the Classic FMs videos don't play for me any longer. Sad

Nope. No mention of a 'secret skill' just basically what I said above. He mentioned that he loves seeing the fans and about us congregating in hotels and things and that the CD is out around October and the tour in Oct/Nov so he will have 'plenty of time to see the fans before xmas'.

Don't know if any of that rings a bell with anyone?

Its a different interview - just come out with the Behind the Scenes June newsletter Smile

They all know way too much about all of us - so they must be reading these threads Wink

So perhaps this interview will bring a few more people online here Smile

I just got the June Behind the Scenes newsletter too and it's a different interview!

He talks about how fabulous we fans are - and he loves to meet everyone after shows etc.

Also talks about the new CD out in October and it will have "big fantastic tunes" - still with the core element being classical but some fantastic music and fantastic orchestration and great producers!

    Yes!!! Bring it on Jonathan!

Also mentioned touring in October/November so plenty of opportunity to meet the fans.........

    Love Molly xx

    Re: Classic FM website

    Quote about us fans:

CFM: "The Jonathan Ansell Fan Club is in tonight. You have a very strong fan base"

Jonathan: "They are incredible. The fans are the reason people have careers. I owe everything to them and their support and their online support. They chat and meet and congregate at hotels and venues. I think it's absolutely incredible and I love spending as much time as possible with them every single time!"

He also says that Come Dine with me meant lots of long days and stress in the kitchen, but his smoke alarm is still working! Lol.

Also about the new album in October - crossover classical.

Quick request Tracy/Cathy - could you change the heading of this thread to

ClassicFM Behind the Scenes Interview 29 May 2008

with this link in the first post

    http://www.classicfm.co.uk/article.asp?id=681402&DCMP=EMC-EMR2007

As this site comes out in search engines now and we might just get a few more people finding it that way Wink

And to anyone posting in media it really would be wonderful if all headings could include the date and any relevant link as well in the first post - all good practice in this online world Smile

Cathy, yes you're right and he has already mentioned October release for an album in another interview.

Believe me tho, this is a different one!     So something for you to look forward to later!!  Wink

Had to laugh cos he mentions that he was definitely going to 'party' later on after the Brits!   Yes, so keen was he to get going that he almost walked past all his adoring fans who he loves to spend time with  Huh?Stick out tongue
